ENABLE/Wildcat Services, Inc. provides Pre-Employment Transition Services (Pre-ETS) for students aged 14 to 21.
We are eager to collaborate with your school to offer a dynamic program for eligible students! This includes comprehensive work readiness training and a paid internship opportunity. The ENABLE Paid Youth Internship Program, funded by the Department of Vocational Rehabilitation Services (DVRS) comprises:
3 weeks of pre-internship work readiness training
A paid internship lasting between 75 – 150 hours
3 weeks of post-internship work readiness
Aged 14-21
Requires minimal job coaching
Registered with DVRS Pre-ETS
Suitable for travel training (Uber or bus)
Has a valid ID (NJ or School) and a social security number
Initial three weeks of work readiness training at the school, during or after school hours
Paid internship for 75-150 hours, related to the student’s career interests
Final three weeks of job exploration and career planning at the school
$100 weekly incentive during pre and post-internship work readiness ($600 total)
Paid internship at $18/hour
Clothing allowance for professional attire.
Backpack with school supplies
Reimbursed travel expenses (Uber, bus passes, or mileage)
